All around the world at this very moment all sorts of cruel experiments are taking place in scientific labs.  Cats, dogs, primates, mice, rats, and even pigs  await their turn in isolated cages knowing the events about to take place.  Many of them have never felt the warmth of the sun, or felt the grass beneath their feet and they never will.

Robbed from their natural habitat and transported thousands of miles away, they wait in fear until the moment of an experiment. This fear along with the isolation and loneliness they endure often causes psychological trauma which results in frantic movement, self affliction, and sometimes even death.  What they feel is nothing short of what Holocaust victims who were experimented on must have felt.

Everything from cosmetics to household cleaning chemicals are tested on numerous species of animals.  Cats and dogs are forced to inhale fumes to test their lethality. Primates are injected with numerous chemicals and forced to ingest them as well.  Rabbits, mice, and rats sometimes have fluids rubbed into their eyes and on their skin which causes blindness and burns on their skin.  Many of these animals die during or shortly after the experiments.

The ones that are lucky to survive cannot be used for further testing and are disposed of in the same laps that kept them hostage.  Millions upon millions of these animals are subjected to such pointless tests, many of which are not even required by the government.  Since small rodents, and cold blooded animals are not protected by the animal welfare act the actual number of animals killed remains largely unknown.  Due to the inaccuracy of these tests many medicines and chemicals pass testing and are allowed to be sold publicly often resulting in ill side effects and sometimes even death.

Laboratories are not the only places where these experiments are performed.  Schools and colleges all over conduct experiments and vivisect animals for education. Many governments and institutions even fund this tests. With computer models currently in existence, there is no longer a need to kill such beautiful animals merely for  the sole purpose of education.

Scientific research does not need to be conducted on our animal brothers and sisters.  Many of these tests result in nothing but wasted tax money that is better spent on healing people rather than hurting our friends. The images of these labs mirror the labs of Nazi death doctors like Dr. Mengele.

No one should have to endure such loneliness and monumental suffering. These experiments have to stop and these labs must be shut down forever.  Scientific progress is not progress when it is at the expense of millions of lives.
